politicians i would like to meet

I talked to you about some politicians i like a lot.

Some of them i already met, like Gino Debroux, we were close friends when we both lived in Landen, we even had a radio show together

A local politician in the town where i live nog is Isabelle Freson, we worked together for her 2009 elections campaign

Last week i was listening to a radio interview and found out that is was with Inge Vervotte, i took contact with her by Facebook and i hope we can meet in the near future.

By assisting some political meetings in my region i was hapily surprised by the political views of Kattrin Jadin. I also found an interview with her on Dailymotion, which makes me even more willing to meet this person in real life.

And with Didier Reynders I had the honor to work for his Ministruy of Finance, an IT project, and during my kick-off meeting he assisted during 5 minutes to the meeting, but those 5 minutes have impressed me that much, about his knowledge of the dossier we were talking about, that i am now a fan for life.

the importance of being ...

I feel that, during my life, i prefer being surrounded by honest people.

You could say, hey, that is normal, everyone feels so....

Byt if you take a look around and start counting your friends, you will easily find some people from who you could think, if needed one day, i would not put my hand into a fire to expres that they are always honest.

I am following a personal coaching course at the moment, called Master Mind, and one of the things that always comes up is honesty, to others, but also to yourself in the first place.

When we are talking about beauty, communication, relationships...people show their make-up...not the real people that they are underneath that mask.

Through the years i am getting better in finding out quite quickly if a person is honest to themselves or to others.

And for me one thing is important, if i look into the mirror in the morning, i love to see a smile, no worries.

And for that smile you have to be in peace with yourself, be honest to your ideas, respect other opinions but keep the liberty to have your own life.

So liberty is my religion; the liberty of being honest, of being respectfull, liberty to say what i want and accept the opinion of others about me.

During the last months i am getting more and more in contact with some politicians and we have deep discussions about "Good Governance"

My profession is being a Governance Manager for several clients of the company i am working for, and for me Governance Management, or Governance in general, is about embracing....

Embracing people.... or clients...is not about kissing them on their cheek, but about listening to what they say without going directly into defence...

It is the belly feeling that counts, not the contract...which makes that someone is happy about a collaboration..

In the past, i was not really interested in politics..politics was about having a Government with old and wise politicians that take the right decisions and than communicate about it.

Nowadays i am happy to see that there are all kind of politicians, the young ones, with fresh ideas, and the older ones, with wise opinions on how to govern.

Personnaly i feel more sympathy for the young ones, and i would like to share some names with you of some politicians for which i feel that they are working in the right direction.

You will see that i have no specific political opinion, i have friends at all parties, political colour is not important for me, it is the message that counts.

Local politicians:

Gino Debroux; SP.A Landen

Isabelle Freson; MR Saint-Nicolas

National politicians:

Inge Vervotte: CD&V

Kattrin Jadin; MR

Didier Reynders; MR
